About Me.
I am an accomplished Artist with a passion for drawing and painting, and my curiosity to explore different media and techniques allows me to experiment and grow as an Artist. I enjoy painting with oil, acrylic, watercolour mediums, and charcoal drawings, and I have worked and taught art privately from my home studio to learners of all ages.
I was born and raised in India and grew up on a farm, which stirred in me a fascination with the natural beauty of the landscape and helped me develop an interest in art at an early age. I am self-taught and completed a University Degree to become a Mathematics Teacher; however, in 2007, I decided to pursue my childhood dream and my passion for art, and I became a full-time Artist. I have earned recognition for my artwork, and have had the privilege to have my art displayed at several art exhibitions in India.
In 2014, I immigrated to Canada and currently live and work in Halton Region (Ontario). I have been an active member of the Oakville Art Society since 2014, where I have been volunteering and taking multiple art courses/workshops. I also volunteer with the Bronte Historical Society since 2016 and am always motivated to learn more about my field - having completed an art-related course through Sheridan College.
I am proud of my artistic achievements as an Artist and Art Instructor, and my various artworks have found a home in private collections across Canada, the USA, and India. I'd love to explore how my artistic expertise and my passion for expressing myself through the medium of art can make a meaningful impact in your life! Connect with me and let's explore our creative sides together.
